I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in the state of Georgia and a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) in South Carolina. I have a Master's Degree (M.Ed.) and Education Specialist Degree (Ed.S.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Clemson University. I own and operate my own practice, Blue Ridge Psychotherapy, LLC, in Clemson, South Carolina.
I have been in the mental health field for several years. I worked at a rape crisis center with victims of assault and abuse, at a group home with teenage offenders and trauma victims, and at a psychiatric hospital with depression, anxiety, self-harm and suicidal ideation. I spent several years in Atlanta receiving extensive training and supervision in the field of eating disorders under the supervision of Dr. Amy Smith-Barnes and direction of Meg McLeroy at Midtown Psychotherapy Associates. Most recently, I worked at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Clemson University briefly while still maintaining a private practice in Atlanta.
In my free time, I enjoy being outside with my toddler, husband and dog, Bruce. I love to hike, camp, paddleboard, run and practice yoga. I also enjoy traveling and spending time with my friends and family.
