Welcome! I'm glad you are here.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of South Carolina and a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC) in the state of Georgia who provides individual and family therapy with special interest in treating teenagers and adults who struggle with eating disorders, self-harm, body image, depression and anxiety. I also see individuals who are struggling with life transitions, self identity and overall stress management. I consider taking clients with many other presenting problems on a case-by-case basis.
Coming to therapy for the first time is a big step so I want to commend you for putting your health and well-being first. You deserve it. I offer free, 15 minute phone consultations to anyone considering making their first appointment. I want you to feel confident in your decision and have an idea of who I am before we meet in person. We can discuss any concerns on the phone prior to having a session to determine if I will be a good fit for your needs.
I have two offices that you may see me at depending on where you live. For Georgia residents, I am located at Midtown Psychotherapy Associates in the Buckhead area of Atlanta where I work under the supervision of Dr. Amy Smith-Barnes. For South Carolina residents, I am located less than 5 minutes from Clemson University's campus.
For your safety and mine, I am currently accepting new clients but all meetings will be virtual until COVID-19 is no longer a concern.
